Hoppy Birthday

Cooking with Cricut has a challenge going on right now. You had to do a birthday themed project, and there was a sketch you could use to get entered into another prize draw. Unfortunately I was not able to use any of my Peachy Keen stamps for this layout, but maybe if I get picked I can use the gift certificate to get some different stamps so I can use them more! Thanks for looking!
I used the Create a Critter cricut cartridge, as well as the Give a Hoot cartridge.
They are sooo cute.
The paper is Me & My Big Ideas value pack from M's and some paper from my stash. :)
I'm also entering this in the Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge.

Still plugging away

Ok, so yet again my intentions are great but have follow-through issues. I have been working on a project every day this week and am hoping that it will be finished tomorrow to post a pic....it is soo cute. Then of course I commit on facebook to give the first 5 people who comment on my status a handmade something. I had to do it because so many of my talented friends were putting it up for offer too.
I have the whole year to do it, but hope it doesn't take me that long just to figure out what to make all of them.
Darn my crafty friends!

UGH!

Why is it that I always have the best intentions to start with?
But can't seem to live up to my own impossible expectations??????
Anyway, it is the 3rd of January and I have crafted every day. I started a pink crocheted elephant yesterday, and have been making great progress considering this is still a learning process for me and the whole running a household, raising 3 kids, and having church meetings.

So maybe I need to give myself a break and remember that I am only 1 person and that I need to finish the things I start, not necessarily finish them the same day.

As a side note, I did do up some quick dividers for my meeting binder ;)

Day 1 of resolution

So far so good! I finished my first project of the year. I had some cotton yarn from my stash, so I knocked out a dishcloth! I'll have to post a pic later, it's not working right now.
