New Years Resolution

I know I have made this attempt before, but my resolution is to keep up with my blogging and try to craft through my mass of supplies, paper and yarn related.

My new camera will let me take better pictures, so I need not be embarrassed by the poor photo qualities of future postings.

Oh, and I finnally taught Mena how to knit (sort of), so with her crafting along with me, the stash will be whittled down in no time (I hope).

I will be definately looking to some message boards for motivation and inspiration to keep to this journey, who knows, maybe I'll find some great friendships along the way!

Happy New Year blog land!

Spur of the moment

I was searching around blog-land and stumbled across a challenge site. The challenge was to cut a flamingo with the cricut, but it couldn`t be pink. Since the only cartridge that has a flamingo is Life`s a beach, which I don`t have, I had to design my own on the Gypsy. I don`t think I did too bad of a job for my first design job.
My best friend just had her third baby boy last week, so I`ll give this to her as a surprise!

Well I didn`t make it!

So much for keeping up with my blog. Honestly I don`t know how some of these blogging moms of young kids do it. You know what they say.....tomorrow is another day. I really should be making a wedding card for some friends who are getting married tomorrow. I`ll make it then post the pics!

Hope I can keep this up

I have decided that I will be attempting to blog. I am not making any promises on the frequency of my postings, but I am hopeful that I will be able to keep it up for at least 4-5 a week.

I finally finished the border in my oldest daughter's new room, I used my Gypsy and Picturesque to make a stencil.

My First Time

Well, this is my first time blogging, I have joined the new world.....lol.
The kids are in bed and I can't decide whether to knit or play with the Cricut. The tea cozy I am making needs to get finished so I better do that, then with it done I can all the scrapbooking time I want! Knitting is not the best passtime for the summer months anyway.
